Energy can be stored and transferred. It cannot be created or destroyed. The total energy of a system stays the same. Energy is transferred from a hot object to a cool one by conduction or radiation.

SCIENCE PROJECT II

The project will be done in groups previously chosen by the teacher.

Students will be evaluated individually and alsohow well the project is presented within the group.

Presentation will take place around mid February (precise dates will be announced)

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Each group chooses a Biome that will be shown in a piece of cardboard (you can use both drawings or photographs), in the back of the cardboard you will have to draw a foodweb from that biome.

2. Show and explain in the world map which parts of the world you can find examples of that biome, and find information about the climate in those areas (for the different season, precipitation, temperatures..)

3. Explain the fauna of that biome.

4. Explain the flora of that biome.

5. Dangers that can make that biome dissapear (or grow in case of deserts)
